My iPod and "its moments"

on a way to work today my iPod had "its moments" and refused to work properly.

I was listening to one song over and over ( althought I was pressing the right buttons) and at the end the battery was so flat that I had to listen to "Sound of Warsaw's streets".

Was it a sign that I should stay at home?:-):-):-)
