Driving in Poland

first conclusion from travelling to Łomża with Laura:

Polish drivers are simply insane! They don't respect their own and others' lives!

If it happens that I meet a Polish guy (which is by the way not so obvious in my case), he will need to pass a driving test before I take him into a slight consideration!

If he drives in a crazy way - he is absolutely OUT of THE GAME!!!!

Funeral on Thursday

I will attend a funeral on Thursday.

I don't know a person who died but I need and want to be with my family then.

I will meet my parents there:-) - we live in the same city just 10 minutes from each other and we haven't met for the past three weeks.

I have my life and they have their life.

Thursday's funeral - so very typical of life ...... - am happy to meet my family but the occasion is so sad!

The sadness mixes with a joy!

Being involved in a start-up of Frans and Stefan's advertising campaign

am happy cause I am helping them and have a very important task to do:-)

After receiving an email from them, I need to send from Warsaw to Holland the enveloppes that they prepared before and handed over to me.

My task is to chose the beautiful stamps:-))))).

I like my charming task:-)).

I counted: I have 15 enveloppes so in my opinion I should chose 15 different stamps:-) in case people from different Dutch advertising agencies will meet and compare the envoloppes:-).

You never know what may happen:-).

Follow-up on Jacek Yerka

I dropped him an email saying that I fell in love with his paitnings and would like to know where I can see them in Warsaw. I got a reply:-).

I already paid a visit in this gallery. I ordered a giccle that I fell in love with but I need to wait for the confirmation from the lady who works in the gallery. She needs to talk to Jacek Yerka. I hope he says YES:-).

I also got a book with his works called "Mind fields the art of Jacek Yerka, the fiction of Harlan Ellison."

Stefan and his weird-magic stories:-) in Europe

I wrote that they broke my car but being more precise I need to add that it was Stefan not them:-).

Let's begin with his story from Norway.

He went there and visited a museum of ski where he could see an empty place within the exhibition. Above it there was a signature: a 80's missing snowboard from Norway.

A few months later he found a snowboard in Amsterdam, on the street during his lunch break. According to his judgement it was a snowboard from 80's. He claims it is the missing snowboard from Norwegian museum:-). What do you think?????

Now Poland:-)

I will try to make it short otherwise it will be deadly boring.

Stefan lost two coins of 5 PLN in my car and one coin blocked the front seat. Such a scenario disbaled me to use the security system.

When I told them what had happened they couldn't believe it. When they saw it, finally they recognised the issue. Fortunetely they fixed it:-). They said that only two guys would be able to do it:-)))).

It is amazing what a randomly dropped coin can cause:-)!!

It's so good to know I can still be amazed by our world:-)

A break from Dutch socialising

today am going to see a Polish friend, learn Italian etc.

Am I having kind of vacation when they are here?

So tonite am back to non-holiday time in Warsaw:-)

Lovely dinner

we had lovely dinner yesterday.

I received two very beautiful roses, one from each guy - am so lucky:-))) (the pictures later) and Dutch stropwaffels that I do like:-)))).

They came earlier so they could help me with peeling off the potatoes.

They were chatting and I was creating my meal.

It took me some time so we ate rather late almost at the end of my beloved show - You Can Dance.

"My guy" in the show was excellent:-))))).

To be honest I am not so sad by a fact who dropped out from the show. All the people, whom I like, stayed.

Coming back to the story at the table:-):

I joked that singing a song after the meal is a Polish way to thank for it so they sang a nice song for us:-))))).

THEY REPAIRED MY CAR:-) BUT BECAUSE THEY HAD BROKE IT on SUNDAY.

IT IS KIND OF A MAGIC STORY - MORE DETAILS LATER:-))))).

Yes, it was REALLY a lovely evening.

Frans is a sweet guy. He was the only one to help me with the dishes:-).

Dutch and Polish connection:-)

I didn't join them for Latino Fever:-(. I didn't feel well:-(. I am kind of ill:-(.

Stefan has found his good match here:-).

His good match will come tonite to my place for dinner:-))).

Finally I feel relieved.

He is such a hunter and so far had no luck....

Interview with Frans:-)

I forgot to mention that yesterday on Chlodna 25 after the concert Frans was interviewed by me. I used a spoon and was so tired that I said it is my mico not mic:-)))).

Suprisingly the spoon didn't manage to record anything:-) so I can't let you know what he said but it was very good. Frans knows a lot about Poland and is a very good observeur.

Stefan and Frans in Warsaw:-)

Next 10 days will be great fun for me with two crazy Dutch guys.

Our first night:

Harlem (the dancers from the tv show that I love - you can dance - didn't show up:-() so we went to Klubo (haven't been there for a long while and I do love this venue!). We were dancing till 5 am afterwards we ate breakfast in Lemon Bar.

I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN WITH THEM:-)))))).

They are crazy and funny.

Below our texts before we met up.

I was sitting with one of my friends in Muza - good spot. The guys were supposed to catch up with us there but I got a text:

S: Hiya, we can be there in half an hour. Is that ok? Or do you wanna meet in harlem.

Me: That's perfect here. It 's easier 4 u 2 find it than harlem, we don't want 2 make ur life difficult in a beautiful city called Warsaw

S: Well, aren't you the sweetest. See you in 34 min.

Me: OMG u r v precise, I've heard u r a huge party animal so an easy going guy n now 34 min, anyway c u (Stefan and Frans are the friends of my friend Jochem)

Of course they didn't appear in 34 min, after 50 min I texted Stefan.

Me: Mr 34 min r u both OK? We r downstairs

S:ok, ok, gives 6.3522 min more.

I've staterd to cry cause of laughing and it's just the beginning:-)

They didn't find the venue. They were lost so we decided to look for them. They texted me with the directions and a question:

how long?

Me: I think 8.128967431586 min

S:OK after 8.2 min we leave

Me: 2 Amsterdam?:-)

Of course we were late so we received a text on a way to reach them:

S: OK were leaving

Me: Ok, did u enjoy Warsaw, we are stuck in traffic...



We were driving. Will you believe in traffic after 23h in Warsaw:-))) ?????


IT WAS SO FUNNY. IT IS OBVIOUS WE GET ON WELL:-)))).

After 10 days of their stay I will need to sleep a lot:-) who cares - we have only one life:-).

Any doubts that I am back to "my real me". I don't have any doubts and it's the most important:-).

Why such true friends?

1. Ipod - a woman needs passion in her life
2. Hadbag - a woman needs to have by her side many useful itmes and always a suprise which is always in the handbag. I am almost always amazed by what I can find in my handbags:-).
3. Diamonds - cause a woman mustn't ever lose faith and hope in true love:-))))
4. You know what - cause your partner can have a headache and we need to understand and accept it:-)

With such friends women should be happy all the time:-).

A comment for Stefan:-) - I know one man who has headaches:-))))). I would even say that he is kind of macho:-).
